Meet Rhys and Donna
Rhys and Donna are the dynamic duo behind the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Owd Betts Pub. As modern stewards of Owd Betts, they have poured their passion and dedication into creating a home-away-from-home for locals and visitors alike.
Together, Rhys and Donna have upheld Owd Betts' legacy as a cherished community hub, Their commitment to providing top-notch service while preserving the pub's distinctive character has brought regulars and visitors to the pub for the past 16 years.
Our Front of House
Meet Ellen
Ellen has been with us since starting as a potwasher at just 15 years old, and showing promise quickly progressed onto waitressing and bar work. She then travelled the world as cabin crew for British Airways but eventually came back to her "favourite place to work" Owd Betts.
Ellen always has a smile on her face and loves to look after our lovely customers!
When asked what her favourite thing about Owd Betts is, Ellen shared “The atmosphere… created from both our customers and our team all year round… whether everyone is enjoying a cold drink in the sunshine or fighting for the best seat in front of the log fire… No matter what time of year it’s always the coziest place to be.”
